IFIC Bank observes Earth Day

IFIC Bank recently organized a green event named “Green Generation Next” to observe the Earth day at Dhaka Residential Model College in the city.

The main focus of the event was to create awareness among our future generation on preventing environmental pollution and energy efficient habits in daily life.

Noted poet Asad Chowdhury was present as chief guest while Deputy managing Directors of the bank Mr.  M.M.Haikal Hashmi, Mr. Shah Md. Moinuddin and Head of Green Banking Mr. T.I.M. Rawshan Zadeed were present in the event.

The program was chaired by the Principal of Dhaka Residential Model College Brigadier General Md. Asaduzzaman Subhani.

Jamuna Bank holds 14th Annual General Meeting

The 14th Annual General Meeting of Jamuna Bank Limited was held at Police Convention Hall, Eskaton Garden Road, Ramna, Dhaka on May 4, 2015.

Md Sirajul Islam Varosha, chairman, Jamuna Bank Limited, presided over the meeting. Besides, the chairman of Jamuna Bank Foundation Al-Haj Nur Mohammed, the chairman of Risk Management Committee Shaheen Mahmud, the Chairman of Audit Committee Md. Rafiqul Islam, other directors of the bank, Managing Director Shafiqul Alam and a good number of shareholders were present. In the meeting, 19% bonus share was unanimously approved. NRBC Bank signs agreement with Dhaka WASA

An agreement was recently signed between NRBC Bank and Dhaka WASA.

As per the agreement NRBC Bank shall receive water bills of Dhaka WASA consumers at all its Branches through online. Mr. Dewan Mujibur Rahman, Managing Director and CEO of NRBC Bank and Engr. Taqsem A Khan, Managing Director and CEO of Dhaka WASA signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides. Besides, Mr. Md. Ataur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director (Admin), Mr. Sayed Golam Ahammad, FCMA, Deputy Managing Director (Finance), Mr. Md Serajuddin, Deputy Managing Director (RP&D), Mr. S D M Quamrul Alam Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director (O & M) of Dhaka WASA and Mr. Kazi Md. Safayet Kabir, Senior Vice President, Mr. M M Moshiur Rahman, Asstt. Vice President, Mr. Md Quamrul Islam, Executive Officer and other officials of NRBC Bank and Dhaka WASA were also present at the signing ceremony. (source: press release)
